New Business Grant
Our Webster County Economic Development Authority is once again sponsoring a new business grant! This business incentive grant, which can be awarded with anywhere from $500 up to $4000, is available to any new business planning to open and operate a business in Webster County or to an existing business in Webster County who is expanding their business to add additional services or a new marketing line.
You must have a business plan and/or business license. All entries will be reviewed by the collective EDA Board and are subject to approval by the Board. The grant request needs to be emailed to the EDA email address, wcda@websterwv.com, and must be received no later than March 31, 2026.
The entry should include:
a short write up on your business proposal
copy of your business plan and
a copy of your business license.
If no entries are received by the end date, or if no entries meet board criteria, monies will be forwarded to the next year. So, if you are planning to call Webster County your new business home, send a copy of your plan and tell us why your business could benefit from an EDA grant. There’s no better place to start a new business as we are the most beautiful place on earth, after all!
